Abstract:
Farmers have been using insecticides heavily to control the spread of Lepidoptera pests that attack Cruciferae in North Sulawesi. One solution to the problem of over use of pesticides is to find an environmentally friendly agent to control those pests. We have investigated Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) and Bacillus cereus (Bc) at Mount Masarang forest with a high level of virulence against Plutella xylostella, Crocidolomia binotalis and Spodoptera litura found in cabbages. The spread-plate method was applied to isolate the bacteria, followed by the method of dying leaves to examine the pathogenicity and probit analysis to determine LC50 and LC90. The isolation of B. thuringinsis and B. cereus from 227 soil samples based on the prevailing wind direction, found 801 B. thuringinsis isolates and 389 B.cereus isolates. Furthermore, LC50 determined in 15 isolates of B. thuringinsis against P. xylostella range from 2,414 × 107to 3,747 × 107, whereas in 6 isolates of B. cereus against P. xylostella range from 2,703 × 107to 3,228 × 107.

Abstract:
This special class of a nonlinear mathematical programming problem which is addressed in this paper has a structure characterized by a subset of variables restricted to assume discrete values, which are linear and separable from the continuous variables. The strategy of releasing nonbasic variables from their bounds, combined with the "active constraint" method and the notion of superbasics, has been developed for efficiently tackling the problem. After solving the problem by ignoring the integrality requirements, this strategy is used to force the appropriate non-integer basic variables to move to their neighborhood integer points. A study of criteria for choosing a nonbasic variable to work with in the integerizing strategy has also been made. Successful implementation of these algorithms was achieved on various test problems. The results show that the proposed integerizing strategy is promising in tacking certain classes of mixed integer nonlinear programming problems.

Abstract:
About one-third of energy required to produce one ton of cement is consumed in grinding. There are many factors affecting the energy consumption during clinker grinding. The energy consumption in the cement mills varies between 30 to 50 kWh/ton. Clinker grinding test was conducted in a laboratory mill, 500 mm x 500 mm, for a time of 5 min and the amount of 3.5 kg of clinker. The experiment was done for clinker obtained by firing pet-coke as fuel and clinker obtained by firing coal as fuel. Experimental mill is filled with different size balls. The goal of this paper was studying the grindability of clinker and its effects in ball mill efficiency. It is taken in consideration that clinker obtained by firing pet-coke has different grindability, different throughput rates, fineness data and other quality parameters. Initially, we studied the chemical and mineralogical composition of samples, and noticed changes in the results obtained. Also it is studied the residue of the samples, specific surface, where the results indicate that clinker produced by firing coal has the highest scoring of grindability.

Abstract:
Gi-Fi (Gigabit Fidelity) or Gigabit Wireless refers to wireless communication at a data rate of more than one billion bits (gigabit) per second. Gi-Fi offers some advantages over Wi-Fi, a similar wireless technology. In that it offers faster information rate in Gbps, less power consumption and low cost for short range transmissions as compare to current technology. Gi-Fi consists of a chip which has the facility to deliver short-range multi gigabit data transfer in a local environment and compared to other technologies in the market it is ten times faster. Gi-Fi has the data transfer speed up to 5 gbps within a short range of 10 meters. It operates on the 60GHz frequency band. Gi-Fi is developed on an integrated wireless transceiver chip. It has both transmitter & receiver, integrated on a single chip which is fabricated using the CMOS (complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor) process and it also consists of a small antenna. Gi- Fi allows transferring large videos, audio files, data files etc. within few seconds.

Abstract:
Objective: To seek cultural construction of health-illness concepts in herbs Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) conducted by healer (sinse) in Surabaya.
Methods: Through ethnographic methods approach using the ethnographic method of domain analysis strategy, taxonomies, components, and analysis of the theme from Spradley (1970). There are 5 respondens from the 27 active participants who registered in the Surabaya City Health Department who met the inclusion criteria and were willing to engage in depth interviews, discussion, observation and using of documents in the data mining process, and analyze them with the ethnographic method.
Results: Cultural construction of herb TCM that has been formulated through the study explained that the construction of cultural herbs medicine is built through four diagnostic methods of TCM.
Conclusions: The new invention in this research show that herb treatment pattern of healer is different from China, especially in dispensing. We also found that the numbers of Chinese herb drug store decrease as well as a number of healer are retired or pass away.

Abstract:
The work has been undertaken to study the feasibility of storing solar energy using Phase Change Materials (PCMs) utilising Heat pipes and copper pipes using the energy to heat water for domestic purposes when there are hours of low solar radiation. This ensures that hot water is available throughout the day.The PCM undergoes a phase change by absorbing latent heat, excess heat being stored as sensible heat. In this way, an analysis of Latent Heat Thermal Energy Storage with Heat pipes in domestic applications is done. The objective of the present work is to enhance the heat transfer performance in thermal energy storage system using PCM with heat pipes and copper pipes while the storage unit is integrated with solar collector (Flate Plate Collector) water heating system. The comparison is made between arrangements of 2 tanks, one with PCM and Heat pipes and other with PCM and Heat pipes. The Heat pipes effectiveness is thus justified out of the two arrangements. The results based on the Temperature, Mass Flow rate conditions, Time, are elaborated.

Abstract:
A key issue in any information security is to protect information about all forms against unauthorized access. Innovation access control model is now becoming a need for application on systems due to emerging acts. Role based access control (RBAC) is a feasible alternative to traditional Discretionary Access Control (DAC) and Mandatory Access Control (MAC). RBAC has been presented to be cost operative and is being employed in different application domains on account of its characteristics: policy neutrality, separation of duty relations, rich specification, and principal of least privilege and ease of managerial issues. Managing the hospital workers, assigning duties and keeping confidential health records effectively is a big hurdle these days. Accordingly, the administration of different security levels, resources, users, tasks etc. is indispensable. This study focused on a Hospital management system by using Role Based Access Control (RBAC). The design architecture is based on RBAC concepts, according to the concept, only the administrator has the privilege to manage or administer the data. She/he provides all types of privileges required to maintain users, their authorization and access, and the authorized resources. The administrator controls the largest information, including access to health care workers‟ files and has the sole access to all potential workers and their assigned duties. This study took into the account the security access control, and security policies and methods integrated into the RBAC which is appropriate for hospital management system. RBAC is used to control the access to patients‟ medical records, files and the hospital resources and eliminates security violations. In the design, the language C++/Qt framework is used to implement the security workflow for different LOGIN processes.
