Speech Recognition Systems(SRS) have been implemented by various processors including the digital signal processors(DSPs) and field programmable gate arrays(FPGAs) and their performance has been reported in literature. The fundamental purpose of speech is communication, i.e., the transmission of messages. In the case of speech, the fundamental analog form of the message is an acoustic waveform, which we call the speech signal. Speech signals can be converted to an electrical waveform by a microphone, further manipulated by both analog and digital signal processing, and then converted back to acoustic form by a loudspeaker, a telephone handset or headphone, as desired. The recognition of speech requires feature extraction and classification. The systems that use speech as input require a microcontroller to carry out the desired actions. In this paper, Cypress Programmable System on Chip (PSoC) has been studied and used for implementation of SRS. From all the available PSoCs, PSoC5 containing ARM Cortex-M3 as its CPU is used. The noise signals are firstly nullified from the speech signals using LogMMSE filtering. These signals are then sent to the PSoC5 wherein the speech is recognized and desired actions are performed.

In this project, A novel high step-up converter, which is suitable for renewable energy system, is proposed.Through a voltage multiplier module composed of switched capacitors and coupled inductors, a conventional interleaved boost converter obtains high step-up gain without operating at extreme duty ratio. The configuration of the proposed converter not only reduces the current stress but also constrains the input current ripple, which decreases the conduction losses and lengthens the lifetime of the input source. In addition, due to the lossless passive clamp performance, leakage energy is recycled to the output terminal. Hence, large voltage spikes across the main switches are alleviated, and the efficiency is improved.

Signaling system 7 (SS7) is the standard communication system that has been used to control public telephone networks since 1980s. Also to control the GSM network (for related and not related circuit signal), SS7 technology later offers advanced intelligent network features.SS7 network are now interconnecting with and operating on Internet data network (SS7 over IP). Based on signaling system- No.7 , a device named REMOTE CONTROL OBSERVER has been developed. The purpose of this device is to start, switch off, open, lock, break down and display the location of the vehicle on the electronic map which is fixed inside it; also it enables the Security Department to locate the place and direction of vehicle inside the GSM Network. The device is consists of a screen (displays the electronic map), and a box consists of a device similar to the cellular phone (with few differences ) , batteries and electronic circuit used to break down the electrical circuit of the vehicle ,where the device is subscribed with the GSM Network. The main advantage of this device is to use the available technologies and applications with adding and amending some of the programs and tasks for cellular phone and using the data base of the Home Location Register (HLR) and Visitor Location Register (VLR) by connecting a terminal to enable the user to search for any vehicle.

Differences in the root ability of olive cuttings in the juvenile and mature form are reported. The root ability of cuttings from juvenile and mature olive shoots together with the influence of season stem collection and different concentrations of IBA has been studied. Shoot proliferation and rooting of the olive explants were improved with editing to the nutrient media of 20 mg/l and 50 mg/l crude extract from olive ovule, respectively. Also, it is found that the extract of olive ovule has high content of IAA That means that shoots coming from the olive ovule located at the base of the tree have juvenility factors. Leafy stem cuttings of olive cultivar "Kalinjot" were obtained from 1-year-old olive shoots sampled on March 25th, April 15th, August 1st and September 1st during the 2013 growing season. The shoots were collected from the olive ovule located at the base of the tree (juvenile form) and on the crown of the tree (mature form) To improve the rooting of olive cuttings, different concentrations of IBA , (0,2000,4000,dhe 6000 ppm) After treatments, the stem cuttings, equipped with an automatic mist system, were planted in the greenhouse. 60 days after the beginning of rooting treatments, cuttings were scored for the presence of callus, percentage of rooted cuttings, root number per cutting and root length. In all the seasons and all the concentrations of IBA the juvenility modified significantly higher rooting of cuttings. The percentage of rooted cuttings sampled on April 15th was markedly greater than that of rooted cuttings sampled on the other seasons. The concentration 4000 ppm of IBA was better.

Manifold Ranking Method For Image Retrieval
K.Amarendranath, P.Giridhar, Md.Raheem
Abstract      pdf Full text PDF
Manifold Ranking (MR), a diagram based positioning calculation, has been generally connected in data recovery and appeared to have incredible execution and attainability on an assortment of information sorts. Especially, it has been effectively connected to substance based picture recovery, as a result of its exceptional capacity to find hidden geometrical structure of the given picture database. Then again, manifold positioning is computationally exceptionally costly, both in chart development and positioning calculation stages, which altogether confines its appropriateness to substantial information sets. In this paper, we broaden the first Manifold positioning calculation and propose another structure named Efficient Manifold Ranking (EMR). We plan to address the deficiencies of MR from two points of view: adaptable chart development and effective calculation. In particular, we manufacture a stay diagram on the information set rather than the conventional k-closest neighbor chart, and outline another type of nearness lattice used to accelerate the positioning calculation. The test results on a genuine picture database exhibit the viability and productivity of our proposed technique. With a total amount execution to the first manifold positioning, our system altogether lessens the computational time, makes it a promising strategy to expansive scale genuine recovery issues.

Abstract      pdf Full text PDF
Information sharing for information gathering among numerous applications is a proficient approach to diminish the correspondence expense of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). This paper is the first work to present the interim information sharing issue which is to explore how to transmit as less information as would be prudent over the system, and in the mean time the transmitted information fulfills the necessities of the considerable number of utilizations. Not quite the same as present studies where every application requires a solitary information inspecting amid every assignment, we ponder the issue where every application requires a constant interim of information testing in every errand. The proposed issue is a nonlinear nonconvex streamlining issue. Keeping in mind the end goal to bring down the high unpredictability for taking care of a nonlinear nonconvex improvement issue in asset confined sensor hubs, a 2-element estimate calculation whose time intricacy is O(n2) and memory multifaceted nature is O(n) is given. An exceptional example of this issue is additionally investigated. This extraordinary occurrence can be settled with a dynamic programming calculation in polynomial time, which gives an ideal result in O(n2) time unpredictability and O(n) memory multifaceted nature. We assess the proposed calculations with TOSSIM, a generally utilized reproduction device as a part of WSNs. Hypothetical examination and reproduction results both exhibit the adequacy of the proposed calculations.

G. Bharath, Y.Sunitha, Kalpana .A
Abstract      pdf Full text PDF
More vast information accumulations are assembled worldwide in different IT frameworks. A large number of them have an arranged nature and should be prepared and examined as diagram structures. Because of their size they all the time require the utilization of a parallel worldview for effective calculation. Three parallel procedures have been looked at in the paper: MapReduce, its guide side join augmentation and Bulk Synchronous Parallel (BSP). They are actualized for two diverse diagram issues: figuring of single source most brief ways (SSSP) and aggregate order of chart hubs by method for social impact proliferation (RIP). The techniques and calculations are connected to a few system datasets contrasting in size and basic profile, beginning from three areas: telecom, sight and sound and microblog. The outcomes uncovered that iterative diagram preparing with the BSP execution dependably and fundamentally, even up to 10 times outflanks MapReduce, particularly for calculations with numerous emphasess and scanty correspondence. The augmentation of MapReduce taking into account guide side join is normally described by better productivity thought about to its birthplace, despite the fact that not as much as BSP. All things considered, MapReduce still remains a decent option for colossal systems, whose information structures don't fit in neighborhood recollections.
